Model 180 - Timer for Counter Top Appliances & Beauty Equipment

The Model 180 is miniature in dimensions, but it offers two single-pole, single-throw (SPST) or single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switches, each available with a double-upper switch. All circuits are rated 15 amperes. The Model 180 electromechanical timer is often used as a battery charger timer switch. Though most commonly used in battery chargers, Model 180 also has a variety of other applications.

Switch

15 amp 125/250 VAC; 1/3 HP, 125/250 VAC.

Terminals

.250" (6.35) x .034" (.86) male spade with foldover construction.

Time Ranges

Many standard cycle times and operating intervals available.

Motor

Permanent magnet, 24 VAC, 115 VAC or 230 VAC nominal voltage inputs at 50 Hz, 60 Hz or 50/60 Hz. Motor leads 4" (101.6) long with .250" (6.35) stripped ends standard. Internally connected leads optional.

Shaft Rotation

Clockwise or counterclockwise bi-directional friction clutch standard.

Shaft Extensions

.248" (6.3) diameter molded shaft extending .854" (21.64) from the mounting surface with .375" (9.35) long flat, .2055" (5.22) thick.

Mounting

Either 3/8" (9.53) -32 threaded bushing with .180" (4.57) diameter anti-rotation boss or two. .116" (2.95) diameter holes on 1.125" (28.58) centers to accept #6-20 self-tapping, thread cutting (type 25) screws.
